Marc Hassan was born and raised in Jacksonville where he graduated from Bishop Kenny High School in 1997. He then went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from Jacksonville University with a B. A. in English (Major) and Business (Minor). In 2003, Marc earned the degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Jacksonville University. Marc, his wife, Meghan, also a Jacksonville native, and their three children continue to call Jacksonville their home and remain active in the community. Civically, Marc is a Board Member of the Rotary Club of Mandarin, volunteers with The Players Championship (PGA Tour), which donated $9 million dollars to local charities in 2018, and recently termed out of his Mayoral Appointed role as Commissioner and Chairman of the T.R.U.E. (Tax Revenue and Utilization of Expenditures) Committee, which is a citizen based fiscal policy advisor board for the City of Jacksonville.
In 2007, Marc founded Spectrum Realty Property Management with the primary focus of supporting the needs of his real estate development projects and companies. After the real estate market almost collapsed during the first decade of the twenty-first century, Spectrum Realty Property Management experienced significant organic growth, primarily in the area of property management, as real estate owners began to rent the properties they could not sell. Subsequently, Marc expanded Spectrum’s business model and service offerings. After extensive planning and reorganization, in 2015 Marc launched a new branding effort with the intention of growing Spectrum into the trusted leader in Northeast Florida for property management and real estate brokerage services. Through ethical and honest practices, Spectrum Realty Property Management strives for this goal every day. By using the latest real estate technologies and establishing a clear corporate culture, Marc is leading Spectrum Realty Property Management on the path to redefine the traditional model of a successful real estate firm.
